RINA MED certification No. MED364021CS
“Maritime equipment Directive 2014/90/UE ("MED") defines the requirements, imposed by technical standards agreed upon at international level, on various items of maritime equipment installed, or to be installed in EU-flagged vessels”.
Naster has obtained from RINA the MED (Marine Equipment Directive) No. MED364021CS certification that defines NASTER’s NP1609 MA2 FR10 Carpet Tape product as conforming to the fire prevention regulations set out in the MED 2014/90/EU Directive and the construction quality standards set out in Regulation (EU) 2021/1158.
As a result, the product is classified as fire and smoke resistant and conforming to the quality standards required for its use in the marine and nautical sectors, testifying to its construction quality and the attention that Naster devotes to the production of materials and products that are safe, high quality, and certified for their intended use in various applications.
