Naster achieves UNI/PdR 125:2022 certification: a concrete, structured commitment to gender equality

25 June 2026

Naster SRL Società Benefit has obtained certification under the UNI/PdR 125:2022 standard, the Italian national reference for gender equality management systems in organisations. This achievement does not stem from a formal obligation, but from a deliberate choice — consistent with the identity of a company that has adopted the Società
Benefit legal structure: measuring its success not only in economic terms, but also in terms of the impact it generates on people and the community.

The certification was issued by Sustainy, an Accredia-accredited body, with first issue on 8 June 2026 and validity until 7 June 2029. The scope covers the entire business operations: from the design and production of protective polyethylene film rolls, to the marketing of tapes and films for industrial packaging, through to the production of fabric upholstery for armchairs, sofas and nautical accessories.

Six areas of commitment, one active management system

Obtaining UNI/PdR 125:2022 does not mean closing a chapter. It means opening one — methodically. The standard requires an active management system with performance indicators monitored over time and periodic reviews — annual and triennial. Naster has structured this journey around six thematic areas defined by the standard itself.

Culture and strategy, to promote a working environment built on inclusion and the overcoming of all gender stereotypes, including unconscious ones. Governance, to ensure minority gender representation in decision-making bodies and introduce processes capable of identifying and correcting any non-inclusive event. Personnel management, to guarantee equity at every stage of the employment lifecycle: selection, hiring, career advancement, working hours, welfare and termination. Growth opportunities, to make internal career
paths and their acceleration gender-neutral. Pay equity, through a total reward approach that also includes non-monetary compensation. Parenthood protection and work-life balance, with concrete policies to support staff in parenting and caregiving activities.

The Social "S" Rating and ESG commitment

Alongside the main certification, Naster has also obtained the Social "S" Rating under the ESG-SDGs Rating:2022 Standard, also issued by Sustainy (certificate no. 0067.S/2026). This recognition places the company within a broader sustainability journey, with direct reference to Goal 5 of the UN 2030 Agenda: achieving gender equality and women's empowerment by 2030.

Words matter: the Non-Hostile Communication Manifesto

Gender equality is not built through policies alone. It is also built through language. For this reason, Naster has signed the Manifesto of Non-Hostile and Inclusive Communication, promoted by Parole O_Stili, which sets out ten principles for a more conscious and respectful use of words — online and offline.

Avoiding stereotypes and clichés, choosing clear and inclusive language, recognising that words can hurt or support: these are principles that Naster intends to apply not only in public statements, but in the way the organisation communicates every day, internally and externally.

An open channel for those who wish to contribute

Gender equality is also built by listening. For this reason, Naster provides a dedicated channel for anyone wishing to report, suggest or communicate on matters relating to inclusivity, equal opportunities and gender equality:

All communications will be handled with confidentiality, impartiality and in full compliance with applicable regulations.

This journey reinforces Naster's commitment to actively contributing to positive cultural change: a company in which meritocracy, respect for diversity and equal opportunities are not declared objectives, but concrete and verifiable elements of its organisational model.
